We will discuss the current treatment of B2B and employment-related data under privacy laws in the US and EU, and how we expect this to change in the near future, including with the sunsetting of exemptions under CPRA. This will include discussing similarities and differences amongst US state comprehensive privacy laws, and with laws in the EU, with respect to these collections of data. With our esteemed panel, we will also explore practical solutions for addressing new and existing rights for affected individuals, risks to businesses and how they raise themselves in various contexts (including relating to transactions, data subject rights, data retention, and transparency), and discuss how companies can prepare for a new age.
