What law will govern the metaverse? How will geographically-bounded system of laws govern transnational Internet environments, such as the Metaverse, blockchains, etc.? This session will consider baseline rules, the role of international organizations, U.S. jurisdictional issues, and alternative models that emphasize human rights and the data sovereignty of nation-states.
