This panel investigates the state of cyber insurance and reinsurance law as 2021 closes. Cyber insurers and reinsurers are re-designing the contracts that cover cyber losses to respond to the ransomware epidemic, the fraught geopolitical and regulatory environment, and the connectivity of software supply chains. They are also engaging cyber policymakers to define those risks that are uninsurable. This panel will explore how cyber insurance and reinsurance law will respond to these challenges and help structure data protection legal regimes around the world.
