This keynote will be a fireside chat with Kashmir Hill, a leading privacy journalist who currently writes for The New York Times. She will discuss her experiments requesting her information under the CCPA, living in a smart home, and cutting the tech giants out of her life, as well as her reporting on algorithms and their effects on people’s daily lives and liberty. Having been a journalist focusing on privacy for over a decade, she will share her perspective on the evolution of privacy in this century. She’ll take your questions and talk informally about a wide array of cutting-edge issues.
