In April 2024, Congress published the draft of a federal privacy bill that introduced new access, consent, and advertisement rules. Does the proposed legislation advance a privacy-preserving AI framework? The session will dive into key points of intersection between privacy and AI, and discuss lessons learned from other jurisdictions that enacted or are discussing AI-focused laws upon existing privacy and data protection legislation (such as the EU and Brazil).
