In recent months, most privacy professionals have been focused on the EU; however, in 2020, new privacy laws became effective in Brazil and Japan, and we may see new privacy laws on the books in California and India before the end of the year. This panel will provide an overview of the key aspects of these new laws, how they are similar to and differ from the EU’s GDPR, and the steps organizations should consider taking to ensure they are in compliance with these new privacy laws.
