Health care privacy was a stable field for many years, with HIPAA guiding most decisions, but this time has passed. HIPAA is evolving, more and more data is being created and used outside of HIPAA, and the legislative and regulatory environment is becoming increasingly complicated for both consumers and businesses. This session will explore these new developments, and identify some of the key challenges moving forward.
