Surveys show that consumers are deeply concerned about their privacy. In a recent Ponemon study, 74% of consumers said that they have little control over their personal information. These concerns ultimately are leading to a regulatory backlash, as demonstrated by the CPRA referendum that passed by a wide margin. Clearly, the status quo isn’t working. This session will focus on what can be done to address this problem. Are there different approaches that organizations can take to ease consumer concerns? What types of measures can provide consumers with more meaningful control over their data?
